In 5 Takes

Our manifesto, in five takes — the TL;DR.

  1. Most of your problems are not the result of bad solutions; they result from poor capabilities in defining problems.

  2. Poor problem definitions are a problem of underdeveloped human intelligence.

  3. Human intelligence's cognitive abilities are often undermined by metacognition. The fact that most people don't know what metacognition is, is proof of the problem.

  4. Human intelligence needs a well-developed emotional and cultural intelligence to function effectively in the world. And the good news: you can always improve human intelligence.

  5. Even better news — it takes little effort to improve human intelligence if you have the right approach. And there are learning frameworks, a fancy word for a helpful approach, that can help you on this improvement journey, one tiny habit at a time.

This last point isn't really a take but a fact worth knowing if you like longer-form content. If you want the longer read, see the full manifesto, an overview of why we created it, or the modern obstacles that triggered it — or just start your improvement journey now.
